Abstract:
Provided is a humidity control device capable of stably adsorbing and desorbing moisture. The humidity control device includes: a moisture absorption part that makes air come into contact with a liquid hygroscopic material containing water, a hygroscopic polyhydric alcohol, and a hygroscopic metal salt, to make the hygroscopic material absorb part of the moisture contained in the air; and a composition control unit that controls the composition of the hygroscopic material. The composition control unit controls the composition of the hygroscopic material within a range in which the metal salt can absorb moisture without precipitation.
