Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a humidity sensor which has a simple structure but is still capable of quickly and accurately measuring the relative humidity of a space to be measured. A humidity sensor of the present invention is provided with: a Peltier element; heat transfer members that are independently provided on the heat dissipation side and the heat absorption side of the Peltier element; a space temperature measuring means which is arranged apart from the Peltier element, the heat dissipation-side heat transfer member and the heat absorption-side heat transfer member and which measures the temperature of a space to be measured; a heat absorption-side surface temperature measuring means which measures the temperature in the vicinity of the surface of the heat absorption-side heat transfer member; a dew condensation detecting means which determines the presence or the absence of dew condensation on the surface of the heat absorption-side heat transfer member; and a humidity calculation unit which calculates the relative humidity of the space to be measured on the basis of the temperature of the space to be measured, the surface temperature of the heat absorption-side heat transfer member and the determination signal from the dew condensation detecting means.
