Abstract:
[Problem] To provide, in an easy and inexpensive manner, a hybrid automobile capable of supplying electrical power and a gaseous fuel to the outside of the vehicle body in times of disaster, and provided with a bi-fuel engine for accomplishing a large increase in the available time for power feeding, and to provide solutions for improving the operability in mounting an intake manifold required for modifying an existing hybrid automobile running with a liquid fuel, mounting a gaseous fuel tank while ensuring an in-vehicle space, and preventing overheating thereof. [Solution] The hybrid automobile is obtained by modifying a hybrid automobile in which an engine operated by combustion of a liquid fuel and an electric motor are used as driving sources. According to the present invention, a synthetic resin intake manifold of an engine is provided with a plurality of injection nozzles respectively attached to passage-constituting wall portions constituting intake passages to inject and supply a gaseous fuel to the respective intake passages. The injection nozzles are attached to the passage-constituting wall portions of the synthetic resin intake manifold by threaded engagement with metallic caulking nuts which are provided by a caulking process performed from the outside of the wall portions. The gaseous fuel tank is locked onto the bottom of the floor of a luggage storage unit in the vehicle body. A heat shield panel is present between the gaseous fuel tank and an exhaust pipe from the engine. A gaseous fuel conduit for transporting the gaseous fuel to the engine is arranged to have the same path as an existing liquid fuel conduit. [Selected drawing] FIG. 1
