Abstract:
The hybrid die casting process according to the present invention is characterized by: using a hybrid mold provided with a pair of cavities having the shape of an air conditioner piston; setting a vacuum condition and a local pressing condition created in the cavities appropriately for an air conditioner piston product; with the air conditioner piston shapes filled with molten metal, locally pressing the filled molten metal while creating a high vacuum in each air conditioner piston shape, and simultaneously producing two air conditioner piston products; and thereby manufacturing easily and in large quantities air conditioner pistons (100) having a significantly low bubble content and also having a high degree of hardness required for air conditioner compressors during the manufacturing processes.
