Abstract:
The present invention provides a hybrid drive device (10) characterized by comprising an internal combustion engine (12), a power transmission mechanism (14) that transmits drive power to main drive wheels (2a), a main drive motor (16) that generates drive power for the main drive wheels, an electricity storage device (18), an auxiliary drive motor (20) that generates drive power for each auxiliary drive wheel (2b), and a control device (24) that executes a motor travel mode and an internal combustion engine travel mode, wherein the auxiliary drive motor is provided to each of the auxiliary drive wheels, the control device when executing the motor travel mode allows only the main drive motor to generate drive power but will allow the main drive motor and the auxiliary drive motors to generate drive power during vehicle acceleration at a predetermined vehicle speed or more, and the control device when executing the internal combustion engine travel mode allows the internal combustion engine to generate drive power and does not allow the main drive motor and the auxiliary drive motors to generate drive power.
