Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a miniaturized gas sensor that can be used as a gas detector and/or air quality monitor. It relates in particular to a hybrid gas sensor based on the combination of infrared and semiconductor metal oxide (SMO) technologies. Its manufacturing cost and its power consumption are minimized by the use of a common heating microplate placed above a dielectric membrane in the optical chamber.
