Abstract:
In the disclosed hybrid locomotive, a power conversion unit (4) is unitized by an inverter, converter, control device, and the like being housed in a box-shaped housing having six sides. A power storage unit (5) is unitized by a storage battery, a storage battery control device, and the like being housed in a box-shaped housing having six sides. In a driving chamber (6), a driving device is housed in a box-shaped housing having six sides. A generator unit (7) is unitized by an engine, primary generator, radiator, and the like being housed in a box-shaped housing having six sides. The power conversion unit (4), the power storage unit (5), the driving chamber (6), and the generator unit (7) are mounted on a vehicle underframe (3).
