Abstract:
According to the present invention, a hybrid vehicle is provided with an engine, an assist motor, a manual transmission, a clutch, and a clutch detection sensor. This hybrid vehicle control apparatus has an assist control unit that assists wheel driving by operating the assist motor at a drive start time when the hybrid vehicle starts driving. The assist control unit measures, at the drive start time, elapsed time (t) from the point of time when a signal at the time of engagement start is received from a clutch detection sensor, and starts assisting the wheel driving by the assist motor when the elapsed time (t) reaches a prescribed start time (T1) for assist. In addition, the assist control unit starts assistance when the vehicle speed becomes correspond to a prescribed rotation speed which is equal to or lower than a clutch engagement rotation speed in a case where the hybrid vehicle has an automatic transmission.
