Abstract:
This hybrid vehicle control device for controlling a hybrid vehicle having both an engine and an electric motor as vehicle drive sources is provided with: a high-load road travel determination part for determining whether or not the vehicle is traveling on a high-load road on which a predetermined vehicle acceleration cannot be achieved by engine output alone; and a motor output setting part for setting the output of the electric motor. When the vehicle is determined to be travelling on a road surface with high travel resistance by the high-load road travel determination part, the motor output setting part limits the output of the electric motor once the vehicle speed has reached a predetermined vehicle speed.
