Abstract:
In a control device for a hybrid vehicle which includes an engine and at least two motors as a source of driving force for generating driving force for a vehicle to travel, and in which a first travel mode for travelling with the driving force from the engine, a second travel mode for travelling with the driving force from the two or more motors, or a third travel mode for travelling with the driving force from a smaller number of motors than the motors driven in the second travel mode is selected and set in accordance with a required drive amount with respect to the vehicle, the second travel mode is not selected when the rate of change of the required drive amount is greater than a predetermined value.
