Abstract:
A hybrid vehicle range-extender power following control method and system. The method comprises: when a vehicle meets range-extender power closed loop control conditions, using the actual charge/discharge power of a power battery and the charge/discharge power desired value of the power battery as control errors to adjust the total electric power requirement of an range extender, calculating an engine torque requirement according to the total electric power requirement of the range extender, and controlling an engine to satisfy the engine torque requirement; and when detecting that the electric power of a drive motor suddenly changes and/or load power suddenly changes, activating engine quick torque control, and using an engine quick torque requirement as a feedforward value of an engine speed regulation controller to control an electric generator. According to the hybrid vehicle range-extender power following control method, range-extender power follows required power, so as to avoid overcharge or overdischarge of the power battery, thereby ensuring the service life of the power battery. Also provided is a hybrid vehicle range-extender power following control system.
