Abstract:

A hybrid work machine capable of warming up an electricity storage device by charging and discharging while suppressing engine lug-down or over-revving is provided. A hybrid work machine provided with: an engine; an assist motor mechanically connected to the engine that discharges electricity by generating drive torque and generates electricity by producing brake torque; a hydraulic pressure pump driven by a total torque of the engine and the assist motor; an electricity storage device that stores electric power generated by the assist motor and that supplies electric power when the assist motor discharges electricity; and a controller that outputs a torque command signal for controlling the drive torque or brake torque of the assist motor, the hybrid work machine being further provided with a torque command value computing unit that calculates a hydraulic pressure pump torque necessary for driving the hydraulic pressure pump and that calculates the torque command signal of a value not greater than the hydraulic pressure pump torque from which a preset minimum torque for the engine has been subtracted.
