Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hydraulic control device and a brake system that keep cost increases in check. This hydraulic control device is provided with: a hydraulic pressure source which is disposed within a housing and which causes a hydraulic pressure generation unit to generate working hydraulic pressure, such unit being disposed in a wheel with an oil passage interposed therebetween; a switching electromagnetic valve which is disposed integrally with the housing and which allows the inflow of a brake fluid into a stroke simulator, such simulator being disposed separately from the housing and generating a reaction force with respect to the operation of a brake pedal by a driver; and a control unit which is disposed integrally in the housing and which drives the hydraulic pressure source and the switching electromagnetic valve.
