Abstract:
Provided are a hydraulic control device and a braking system such that size increases in the area around a master cylinder can be minimized. This hydraulic control device is provided with: a first hydraulic unit 2 having a first input port 39 which connects to a supply port 21 of a master cylinder 1, a first connection fluid passage 34 which connects to the first input port 39, a first pump 29 which discharges brake fluid to the first connection fluid passage 34, and a first output port 40 which connects to the first connection fluid passage 34; a second hydraulic unit 3 having a second input port 63 which connects to the first output port 40, a second connection fluid passage 53 which connects to the second input port 63, a second pump 50 which discharges brake fluid to the second connection fluid passage 53, and a second output port 64 which has one end which connects to the second connection fluid passage 53 and another end which connects to a wheel cylinder W/C; and a stroke simulator unit 76 which is mounted on the second hydraulic unit 3 and has a stroke simulator 78.
