Abstract:
Provided is a hydraulic device configured so that the state of foreign matter contained in oil can be easily confirmed regardless of the place of installation. A hydraulic device has a containing chamber 11 located within the device body 10 and containing oil. Also, the hydraulic device is provided with a plug 20 engaged through threads with the portion of the containing chamber 11, which becomes the bottom of the containing chamber 11 when an end surface of a shaft section 20a faces upward. The hydraulic device is configured so that the oil within the containing chamber 11 can be discharged to the outside of the device body 10 by removing the plug 20. The hydraulic device is further provided with: a spacer member 30 formed from a transparent member and disposed in the plug 20 so that one end surface 30a of the spacer member 30 will face the inside of the containing chamber 11; and an image capturing unit 40 for capturing an image of the inside of the containing chamber 11 through the spacer member 30.
