Abstract:
A hydraulic drive device of an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a fuel injection valve that injects fuel into a combustion chamber of a cylinder in a ship diesel engine; a first accumulator that accumulates hydraulic fluid pressure; a first hydraulic fluid discharge pump that regulates the hydraulic fluid pressure in the first accumulator; and a fuel injection pump that feeds fuel to the fuel injection valve by using the hydraulic fluid pressure accumulated in the first accumulator. In addition, the hydraulic drive device comprises: an openable-closable exhaust valve that closes a cylinder exhaust port; a second accumulator that accumulates hydraulic fluid pressure independently of the first accumulator; a second hydraulic fluid discharge pump that regulates the hydraulic fluid pressure in the second accumulator; and a valve device that opens and closes the exhaust valve by using the hydraulic fluid pressure accumulated in the second accumulator.
