Abstract:
Provided is a hydraulic hose manufacturing apparatus whereby a hydraulic hose having uniform properties is obtained. A control unit (72) causes a first pressure to act on an extension cylinder chamber (6408A) when a belt-like member (28) is being wound around a mandrel (32). Furthermore, tension is provided to the belt-like member (28) by means of a braking mechanism (42). This tension causes a permanent deformation roller (62) to move to the descent position. Moreover, when the direction of a spiral is to be changed, a feed drum (36) is braked by the braking mechanism (42) under a braking force larger than during a winding operation, with the result that a second pressure which is higher than the first pressure is caused to act on the extension cylinder chamber (6408A). In consequence, the same tension as during winding operation is given to the belt-like member (28) by the braking force of the braking mechanism (42) and by means of the permanent deformation roller (62).
