Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydraulic press with a press frame (1), comprising two press end pieces (2, 3) and lateral posts (4, 5), and two plungers (7, 8) which are movable in the press frame (1), at least one hydraulic cylinder unit (10) for generating a compressive force and an electrohydraulic control system. The inventive press is characterized in that a lockable plunger (7) can be displaced in the frame (1) in the closing direction of the press by suitable displacement means and can be locked with the press frame (1) in a preselected working position by positive and/or non-positive elements (16) in such a manner that it can pass into the press frame (1) the reaction forces generated by the working plunger (8). The working plunger (8) is linked either with the adjacent press end piece (3) or the lockable plunger (7) via at least one hydraulic cylinder unit (10), thereby generating a nominal compressive force.
