Abstract:

A radial piston type hydraulic pump is provided with: multiple pistons arranged along the radial direction of the hydraulic pump; multiple cylinders for guiding the pistons such that the pistons slide in the radial direction; a cylinder block in which multiple cylinder block segments are arranged in the circumferential direction of the hydraulic pump, at least one cylinder being disposed on each cylinder block segment; and a ring cam which contains multiple cam segments arranged along the circumferential direction of the hydraulic pump and which moves the pistons in a reciprocating manner within the respective cylinders. Moreover, the length of the cylinder block segments in the circumferential direction is longer than the length of the cam segments covered by the cylinder block segments in the circumferential direction.
