Abstract:
A hydraulically driven tide−water control system comprising a waterproof plate (2) normally disposed underground and driven onto the ground at the time of tide−water control, a frame−like support (50) provided on the ground in conjunction with the waterproof plate (2), and a driver for driving the waterproof plate (2) onto the ground from underground. The driver comprises a hydraulic piston&sol cylinder unit (40) operating with city water, water in a water storage tank, water in a rain water tank, and the like. The waterproof plate (2) is driven in noncontact manner up to a specified position and the edge parts (3, 3, 4) thereof abut against the frame−like support (50) when the specified position is reached. The system can be operated even during power interruption without spoiling the seaside view significantly and can be driven remotely.
