Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a hydrocarbon production device that is capable of rendering the reaction uniform when producing a hydrocarbon using a raw material gas and that can save energy and suppress deterioration of the catalyst. One aspect of the present disclosure is a hydrocarbon production device 1 equipped with: a reactor 2 into which a raw material gas FG is introduced; a catalyst 3 that is housed in the reactor 2 and that causes the raw material gas FG to react to produce a hydrocarbon HC; a plurality of temperature adjustment units 4; a plurality of hydrocarbon sensors 6; and a control unit 7. The plurality of temperature adjustment units 4 are provided in the gas flow direction FD inside the reactor 2 to adjust the temperature of the catalyst 3. The hydrocarbon sensors 6 detect the hydrocarbon levels inside the reactor 2 at a plurality of detection locations on the downstream side of each of the plurality of temperature adjustment units 4. The control unit 7 controls the temperature of each of the temperature adjustment units 4 so as to reduce the difference in hydrocarbon levels at each detection location of the plurality of detection locations detected by the hydrocarbon sensors 6.
