Abstract:
Disclosed is a hydrocracking catalyst which comprises: a carrier comprising an ultra-stable Y-zeolite which is prepared by ultra-stabilizing NaY-zeolite; and a metal which belongs to Group VIII in the periodic table and is supported on the carrier. The NaY-zeolite has peaks within the ranges of 2θ=28.0˚-28.5˚ and 2θ=15.0˚-16.0˚ in an X-ray diffraction pattern, wherein ratio between the intensity of the peak appearing within the range of 2θ=28.0˚-28.5˚ (I1) and the intensity of the peak appearing within the range of 2θ=15.0˚-16.0˚ (I2) [i.e., I1/I2 ratio] is 0.05 or less.
