Abstract:
A hydrodynamic air bearing cover (7) for maintaining the air-tightness of a hydrodynamic air bearing which uses hydrodynamic air pressure to suppress fluctuations in a shaft (11), which is the rotational axis of a motor body (1), the cover (7) being equipped with: a cover body (71) provided with a columnar void (73) which is disc-shaped and has a larger diameter than does the shaft (11); and a press-fit part (72) which is provided in the circumference of the disc-shaped lateral surface and maintains the air-tightness of the hydrodynamic air bearing by being press-fit therein.
