Abstract:
Thiｓ hydroelectric power generation system is provided with an electric power generator (12) driven by a waterwheel (11), a head adjustment means (21) that adjusts the effective head of the waterwheel (11), and a control unit (40) that concertedly performs flow rate control for controlling the electric power generator (12) so that the flow rate of the waterwheel (11) approaches a target flow rate, and head adjustment control for adjusting the effective head of the waterwheel (11) through the head adjustment means (21) so that the effective head of the waterwheel (11) is within a first range.
