Abstract:

A hydroformed part, a hydroforming method, and a mold used for the hydroformed method, the hydroformed method wherein when elongated holes with an aspect ratio of 3 or more are pierced in a hydroformed swelled part, the piercing can be performed in a series of working steps even in a hydroforming formed of a swelling step and a piercing step, boring by complicated machining such as milling can be eliminated, and an excellent shape of elongated hole can be secured. Accordingly, the hydroformed part is most appropriate for car parts requiring various types of borings, and the mold for the hydroforming method can be widely used for machining the car parts.
