Abstract:
The hydrogen energy storage system according to the present embodiment is provided with: a hydrogen production unit for producing hydrogen by the electrolysis of water using power supplied from a power generation unit that generates the power using renewable energy; a hydrogen storage unit for storing the hydrogen produced by the hydrogen production unit; a hydrogen power generation unit for supplying power to a load, said power being generated using the hydrogen obtained through a path being in communication with the hydrogen storage unit; a supply unit for supplying the hydrogen stored in the hydrogen storage unit through a path different from the path through which the hydrogen is supplied to the hydrogen power generation unit; a hydrogen amount obtaining unit for obtaining a first hydrogen amount supplied by the supply unit in a specific period; and a control unit for controlling at least one of the hydrogen power generation unit and the hydrogen production unit in accordance with the first hydrogen amount.
