Abstract:
The hydrogen gas generator is provided with a hydrogen gas generation unit housed in a casing. The hydrogen gas generation unit comprises: a superheated steam heating unit having a heating device, whereby raw water is heated to generate a superheated steam and this superheated steam is further heated to generate a Brown's gas containing a hydrogen gas; a gas-liquid separation unit separating gas and liquid from a mixed fluid containing the Brown's gas and the superheated steam; a gas extraction unit extracting the Brown's gas separated from the mixed fluid; and a cooling unit cooling the extracted Brown's gas. The superheated steam heating unit is disposed near a corner formed by a first side wall and a second side wall of the casing.
