Abstract:
Provided is a hydrogen gas generator capable of generating hydrogen gas rapidly by accommodating a bag of hydrogen-generating agent in a case and placing the case in a PET bottle, the hydrogen gas generator having a check valve function so that metal ions do not dissolve out into drinking water. A hydrogen-gas-generating space is provided, the hydrogen-gas-generating space placing a hydrogen-generating agent in a sealed cylindrical case to be placed in a PET bottle; a thin pipe for gas release having a check valve function which allows gas but not water to pass is provided to an end portion of the hydrogen-gas-generating space; the end of the thin pipe has a small hole for gas release; and the space between the outer circumference of the thin pipe which projects into the interior of a cylindrical case head and the cylindrical case inner circumference serves as a buoyancy space.
