Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hydrogen generating device. A hydrogen generating device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a positive-electrode plate having a positive-electrode containing portion formed therein, a positive electrode being electrically connected to the positive-electrode plate; a negative-electrode plate having a negative-electrode containing portion formed therein, a negative electrode being electrically connected to the negative-electrode plate; an insulating plate arranged between the positive-electrode plate and the negative-electrode plate so as to insulate the positive-electrode plate and the negative-electrode plate from each other; and a barrier arranged between the positive-electrode containing portion and the negative-electrode containing portion so as to separate the positive-electrode containing portion and the negative-electrode containing portion from each other. The positive-electrode plate may have an inflow port formed therein so as to supply water into the positive-electrode containing portion, and may have a discharge port formed therein so as to discharge water from the positive-electrode containing portion. The negative-electrode plate may have an exhaust port formed therein so as to discharge hydrogen gas from the negative-electrode containing portion. The present invention is advantageous in that a positive-electrode plate and a negative-electrode plate are not separately used inside a case, which is an insulator having insulating characteristics, and a path is formed inside the positive-electrode plate and the negative-electrode plate such that water can flow along same, thereby maximizing the area of contact between water and the positive-electrode plate, and thus maximizing the amount of hydrogen that can be generated for the same period of time.
