Abstract:
This hydrogen generation device (100) is provided with: a reformer (130) for carrying out a reforming reaction using a raw material and water vapor, and generating hydrogen-containing gas; a transformer (140) for decreasing the CO in the hydrogen-containing gas by a shift reaction; an evaporator (120) for evaporating water, adjacently provided on the upstream side of the transformer (140) so as to exchange heat; and a hydrodesulfurizer (110) for removing the sulfur compounds in the raw material by a hydrodesulfurization reaction, adjacently provided on the downstream side of the transformer (140) so as to exchange heat.
