Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a hydrogen generator for beverages which is capable of being attached to a beverage container, and which is for adding hydrogen to a beverage to obtain a beverage including hydrogen. [Solution] This hydrogen generator for beverages is provided with: a substantially cylindrical ampule member which extends in the longitudinal direction, and which has, enclosed therein, an aqueous solution mainly composed of water; and a substantially cylindrical outer cover member which is formed from a material having a higher flexibility than the ampule member, extends in the longitudinal direction of the ampule member, and has, enclosed therein, the ampule member, and a metal material that reacts with water to generate hydrogen. A portion of the outer cover member is blocked off from the outside by a gas-permeable and water-impermeable material which blocks the aqueous solution and allows hydrogen to pass therethrough. The ampule member can be split by hand force in the lateral direction of the ampule member during use.
