Abstract:
This hydrogen production apparatus is provided with: a lower container; an upper container disposed on the lower container; an electrolytic cell for electrodialysis of aqueous alkaline solution and disposed inside the upper container; an anode gas-liquid separation chamber for separating the aqueous alkaline solution and hydrogen gas generated on the anode side of the electrolytic cell and disposed inside the upper container; a cathode gas-liquid separation chamber for separating the aqueous alkaline solution and hydrogen gas generated on the cathode side of the electrolytic cell and disposed inside the upper container; an electrolyte tank disposed in the lower container and into which aqueous alkaline solution flows from the lower part of the anode gas-liquid separation chamber and the lower part of the cathode gas-liquid separation chamber; and a pump for sending the aqueous alkaline solution from the electrolyte tank to the electrolyte cell.
