Abstract:
A hydrogen sensor is disclosed. The hydrogen sensor comprises: a substrate; a color conversion layer arranged on the substrate, and formed from an oxide semiconductor material that reacts with a hydrogen ion or a hydrogen atom so as to change color; a catalyst layer positioned on the surface of the color conversion layer, and formed from a catalyst material that dissociates a hydrogen molecule (H2) into a hydrogen atom (H) or a hydrogen ion (H+); and a protective layer positioned so as to coat the surface of the catalyst layer or the exposed surface of the color conversion layer, and formed from a polymer material that enables hydrogen molecules to permeate therethrough while preventing the permeation of water molecules.
