Abstract:
The present invention provides: a hydrogen storage material which comprises a TiFe-based alloy having good initial activation and a sufficient dischargeable hydrogen amount; a hydrogen storage container which is provided with this hydrogen storage material; and a hydrogen supply device which is provided with this hydrogen storage container. The present invention specifically provides: a hydrogen storage material which comprises an alloy that has a specific elemental composition represented by formula (1), wherein in a 1000× magnified COMP image of a cross-section of the alloy obtained by EMPA, 25 to 3,000 R-enriched phases having a phase diameter of 0.1 µm to 10 µm are present in a 85 μm × 120 μm field of view of the COMP image, and the R-enriched phase area ratio, which is the ratio of the total area SR μm2 of the phases present in the field of view to the area S μm2 of the field of view, is 0.3% to 6.0%; a hydrogen storage container which is provided with this hydrogen storage material; and a hydrogen supply device which is provided with this hydrogen storage container.
