Abstract:
This hydrogenation catalyst composition contains (A) to (D), and has a mass ratio (D)/(A) of 0.01-2.00. (A) is the titanocene compound of formula (1) (R5 and R6 being selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, a hydrocarbon group having 1-12 carbon atoms, an aryloxy group, an alkoxy group, a halogen group, and a carbonyl group; and R1 and R2 being selected from hydrogen and a hydrocarbon group having 1-12 carbon atoms). (B) is a compound containing an element selected from Li, Na, K, Mg, Zn, Al, and Ca. (C) is an unsaturated polymer having a fraction of the amount of olefinic unsaturated double bonds in side chains to the amount of olefinic unsaturated double bonds in the entirety thereof of 0.25-1.0. (D) is a polar compound.
