Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydrogenation promoter obtained by reacting a palladium compound represented by the general formula: Pd(II)XjLk (wherein L is a mono- or poly-dentate ligand except phosphorus -containing ligands, with the proviso that when two or more L's are present, L's may be each independently the same or different from each other; X is an anionic group; j is such a number depending on the valence of X that Xj has a valence of -2 as a whole; and k is an integer of 0 to 4) with an alkyne or alkene compound and a base in an organic solvent. More specifically, the invention relates to palladium nanoparticles containing the alkyne or alkene compound as the aggregation inhibitor.
