The present invention relates to a hydrojet, and more specifically relates to a hydrojet spray opening and closing device and to a method in which said hydrojet spray opening and closing is directly controlled by means of a valve, and damage to the valve and a nozzle is minimised by ensuring operation in a state in which abrasives have been eliminated. In the hydrojet spray opening and closing device and the method of the present invention, because the spraying of the valve and nozzle is controlled in a state in which abrasives are not flowing, there is the advantage that the valve and nozzle are not damaged, and there is the advantage that a slurry being sprayed is directly controlled via the valve such that the working process is quick and the workpiece is accurately processed.
