Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for converting a carbon cluster into a hydrophilic carbon cluster
without greatly changing the characteristics of the carbon cluster. Also disclosed
are a hydrophilic carbon cluster having a structure wherein a substituted or
unsubstituted amino group is bonded to a carbon atom of a carbon cluster, an aqueous
dispersion of such a hydrophilic carbon cluster, and a solid phase synthesis
using such a hydrophilic carbon cluster.
