Title:
HYDROPHILIC FIBER MEMBRANE-BASED ELECTRICAL ENERGY GENERATING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/093701
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel conceptual electrical energy generating apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof, the apparatus generating electrical energy by continuously maintaining a potential difference formed by asymmetric wetting of a polar solvent with respect to a hydrophilic fiber membrane coated with an adsorbent. In addition, the present invention relates to a hydrophilic fiber membrane energy generating apparatus, and a manufacturing method of the energy generating apparatus, in which a cation/anion pseudocapacitor adsorption mechanism formed during a process of absorbing a polar protic solvent containing ions on a surface of a conductive polymer is utilized, asymmetric wetting of a naturally obtainable solution as well as a prepared solution is performed on a hydrophilic fiber membrane coated with a conductive polymer layer, a high potential difference and current are maintained for a long time, and a conductive polymer layer that produces electrical energy in the form of a direct current is bonded to a surface of an individual fiber.
