Abstract:

The present invention aims to provide a hydrophilic modified polyrotaxane composition exhibiting excellent storage stability. A hydrophilic modified polyrotaxane composition containing: a polyphenol-based antioxidant; and a hydrophilic modified polyrotaxane having cyclodextrin, a polyethylene glycol threaded through the cyclodextrin and enclosed thereby, and stopper groups that are arranged at both ends of the polyethylene glycol and that prevent the detachment of the cyclodextrin. In the hydrophilic modified polyrotaxane, all or a part of the hydroxyl group derived from the cyclodextrin of the polyrotaxane is modified with a hydrophilic modification group.
