Title:
HYDROPHOBIC NANOBIOPROBE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/098754
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a new nanobioprobe and the use thereof in targeted delivery of a bioactive molecule in cells. In particular, the application relates to a mixture solvent - an exposed hydrophobic QD-biomolecule (cS-bQD-BM, or 'SDot'). SDots exhibits extraordinary intracellular targeting performance with a nucleus as a model target, including near-perfect specificity, excellent efficiency and reproducibility, high throughput capability, minimal toxicity, easy manipulation, and outstanding optical properties and colloidal stability.
