Abstract:
Provided is a hydroponic culture device comprising the following: a support section (101) for supporting a below-ground part (102) of a plant; a moisture storage section (103) for storing moisture that is supplied to the below-ground part (102) of the plant supported by the support section (101); a moisture supply section (104) that is water-absorbent and supplies moisture to the support section (101) from the moisture storage section (103); and a water retention section (105) for absorbing and retaining moisture supplied by the moisture supply section (104), in order to adjust the humidity surrounding the below-ground part (102) of the plant. The moisture supply section (104) and/or the water retention section (105) is formed of a water-permeable material having, on the surface, pores smaller than the root diameter of the plant.
