Abstract:
A hydrostatic gas bearing (1) is equipped with: a synthetic resin bearing body (2); a bearing base (4) that is integrally joined to the bearing body (2) with a fastening member (3); an annular seal member (5) that is attached to the bearing body (2) in such a manner as to prevent compressed air from leaking from a gap between the integrally-joined bearing body (2) and bearing base (4); and a self-excited vibration damping mechanism (6).
