Title:
HYDROSTATIC PISTON ENGINE HAVING A BRAKE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/084092
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hydrostatic piston engine having a brake device (5) for producing a braking force on a rotor (3) of the piston engine (1). In order to actuate the brake device (5) an actuating element (6) is provided, on which a hydraulic force can act in order to release the brake device (5). The hydraulic force prevails in a pressure chamber (8) which is connected to a pressure medium source (9) via a first throttle point (11). The pressure chamber (8) is also connected to a pressure medium sink (15). A pressure retention valve device (16, 17) which opens in the direction of the pressure medium sink (15) is disposed between the pressure chamber (8) and the pressure medium sink (15), the opening pressure of said device being at least equal to the pressure in the pressure chamber which is necessary for releasing the brake device (5).
