Abstract:
[Problem] To propose an IC contact unit and an IC card processing device capable of preventing destruction of an IC contact while achieving size reduction of the device as a whole and saving power. [Solution] An IC contact unit for reading and writing data with respect to an IC card is provided with a first contact terminal base, a second contact terminal base, and an elastic member, and is characterized in that: the first contact terminal base is provided with a claw portion for locking an IC card, and a first link portion that serves as a rotating axle when the first contact terminal base is rotated; the second contact terminal base is provided with a contact pin that contacts a terminal of the IC card, a second link portion rotatably connected to the first contact terminal base, and a hook member on which the elastic member is hooked; and the elastic member biases the second contact terminal base with pulling force via the hook member.
