Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to produce uniform flake-like ice. An ice-making device 1 has: an ice-making plate 2 having an ice-making surface 21 comprising a flat surface; a cooling part 3 for cooling the ice-making plate 2; a brine supply part 4 for supplying brine B to the ice-making surface 21; a shaving part 5 for shaving ice 9 formed by cooling the brine B supplied to the ice-making surface 21; and a driving part 6 for relatively moving the shaving part 5 and the ice-making plate 2 in a direction parallel to the ice-making surface 21. In addition, the ice-making surface 21 is horizontal. Furthermore, the ice-making surface 21 faces vertically downward.
