Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide an ID information transmission/reception device and communication system with which it is possible to detect at a low cost whether an electromagnetic wave has been irradiated. This ID information transmission/reception device is provided with an antenna that can communicate in a non-contact manner with a reader-writer, and an IC chip electrically connected to the antenna, the ID information transmission/reception device being characterized in that enabling/disabling of communication with the reader-writer is switched by the irradiation of an electromagnetic wave. This communication system is provided with an ID information transmission/reception device comprising the above configuration, and a reader-writer that can communicate in a non-contact manner with the ID information transmission/reception device. The electrical properties of the antenna may vary due to the irradiation of the electromagnetic wave. The antenna may have a property-varying part in which the electrical properties vary due to the irradiation of the electromagnetic wave. The electrical properties may include at least one among the dielectric constant, the resonance frequency, and the electrical resistance value of the antenna.
