Abstract:
This identification apparatus according to the present disclosure is provided with a terminal device and an information processing server. The terminal device is provided with: an imaging unit that is mounted to a vehicle and captures images of a road surface; an identification unit that identifies the presence/absence of damage on the road surface by performing identification of the images captured by the imaging unit through usage of a trained model; and a transmission unit for transmitting, to the information processing server, detection images which are among the images and in which damage has been detected by the identification unit. The information processing server is provided with: a position determination unit that determines whether or not the damage on the road surface captured in the plurality of detection images transmitted from the transmission unit is at the same place; and an assessment unit for integrating, along a time series, information relating to the damage, on the road surface, determined by a damage determination unit as being at the same place, and assesses the presence/absence of damage on the road surface.
