Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable multiple identification codes to be used without loss of data such as that which occurs in magnetic cards, without causing unstable communication with a reader such as that which occurs in an IC chip, and without the necessity for a complicated reader such as a reader that reads a key shape. To achieve this purpose, an identification code recording medium (2) to which is recorded an identification code expressed as binary data has formed, on the surface of a recording carrier (5) which can be inserted into an insertion port (4) formed in a reader (3) for reading the identification code, at least one shared connection point (6) and an array of a plurality of identification points (7) the conductive state of which is different from the connection point (6) in accordance with binary data, i.e., "0" and "1".
