Abstract:
This identification device is provided with an estimation part that estimates, as an estimate value, an operating distance between the surface of an optical device and an image pickup unit. The distance that serves as reference is the distance between a first surface of a to-be-identified object and the image pickup unit and the distance at which light diffracted at a diffraction grating becomes recordable by the image pickup unit. The identification device is provided with: a first determination unit that determines whether or not the estimate value is equal to the reference distance; and a second determination unit that determines whether or not an image recorded by the image pickup part matches a reference image. In addition, regarding the identification device, the conditions for identifying that the optical device corresponds to a to-be-identified object include: the first determination unit determining that the estimate value is equal to the reference distance; and the second determination unit determining that the image recorded by the image pickup part matches the reference image. The identification device identifies that the optical device corresponds to the to-be-identified object when said conditions are satisfied.
